About

Hi y'all, welcome! I'm Bri.

I'm a Texas girl who ended up in Charlotte during my college years. I loved the Carolinas so much that I decided to make the Queen City home, and now I consider myself a Charlottean. I graduated from UNC-Charlotte, and I'm currently pursuing a masters degree at Texas A&M University (online) gig'em!

In my 9-5 I'm surrounded by asphalt, engines, gears and grease, so this blog is my outlet for all things girly. I enjoy the simple things in life like a good book, a home cooked meal, and a warm conversation. I'm a girly girl at heart, but grew up around boys, so I've gotten good at "hanging with the guys". I like fast cars, college football, and road trips. I'm a Chi Omega alumna, a hopeless romantic (hello Nicholas Sparks!), and a sweet tea drinkin', dogwood tree lovin', southern gal.

Hello Bri! So glad to have seen your blog on FTLOB. I thought it was pretty cool to read that we have a lot in common: Texas gals, Latin American Studies Major, Latinas! I'm now following your blog and going to grab a button!

Bri! Just found your blog and I'm so glad I did. Totally on the same page as you with the weird growing up thing. I went straight from college to grad school, and now am in a job, but my boyfriend of 3 years and I have been long distance for over 2 of those years!

Love finding blogger kindred spirits :)

I didn't know A&M had masters programs online! Where did you find out about that? That would be perfect, for we are about to move and will be moving every few years for a while (military). I went to half of undergrad there. LOVE THAT SCHOOL. Gig'Em!
